VC-1008: Advanced Forensic Photoshop
This course seeks to lay the foundation for the complete, authentic, and ethically sound processing of images. It seeks to set the student, who by virtue of his/her employment is already responsible for this knowledge, on the path to mastery of the subject matter and to give the student grounding in the legal and ethical principles by which images are processed and clarified in a forensic and/or criminal justice setting. As this is the first class of its kind available, it is an introduction to the process, the law, and the standards by which the criminal justice system processes images. Once instructed, the student becomes aware and responsible to look upon his/her workspace and workflow for areas in need of improvement and move toward incorporating the forensic workflow - a move toward standardization and acceptable practices.
